An Encouraging Word From Pastor Bill!

I’m praying for you! Really!

This is an encouraging word before I started calling them Encouraging Words! I wrote this way back in July of 2014, but it still applies. Oh, and only 30 people saw it at the time!

I love when I hear someone say, “I’ve been praying for you!”. It makes me feel known and appreciated. It makes me feel cared for and loved.

Heavenly Perspective

From the man who walked on water: “Though you have not seen him (Christ Jesus), you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” – 1 Peter 8 & 9.

Go Billy, Go!

When I was a little kid (a long, long time ago!), I had a spring connected rocking horse on a bent tube frame. That thing was awesome! At first, I was a little intimidated and very gently took to sitting on it. After hours and hours of ‘hard ridin’, I was able to make the horses nose and tail nearly touch the floor with each successive pass from front to back.

I love dark chocolate!

Over the years, I have tried to drop some weight by attempting to follow certain diet plans. I’ve tried everything from counting calories to counting points to no carbs and only protein to eating only those foods compatible with my blood type (Yep, that last one actually worked!)

Indy and the Last Crusade!

There’s a scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade that speaks to me on a very deep level. The Nazis have kidnapped Indy and his father because they think the two of them will lead them to the discovery of the Holy Grail, the chalice that Jesus drank from at the Last Supper.

Its Friday! The start of the weekend for so many of us. The one day of the week that most people don’t mind getting up and going to work because they know two days off are less than 12 hours away.
