Trust & Obey Pt. 2

Do you obey everything In Gods Word? I think part of the problem with obedience is that it requires all of us to at some point do something we just don’t want to do. Obedience to God’s Word is so difficult for so many of us because that means we give up control. In fact, the Bible is very clear about that.

Do you trust everything in God’s Word? This is the hardest part of my relationship with Jesus. I’ve studied the Word and know many truths as presented in the Word and I’ve seen it shape my life and understanding of Jesus and Gods will. Obeying is hard!

I remember being at my parent’s house a number of years ago when my daughters were very young. I told them to pick up the toys since it was time to go home and that’s when the floodgates opened! There was major wailing and crying and gnashing of teeth and that’s when my dad said, “Aren’t you gonna do something about this?!”
