What does discipleship look like at Fillmore Wesleyan Church?
-
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly, as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom. Colossians 3:16
Discipleship Bands are groups of three to five people of a single gender. They meet weekly to encourage one another and keep each other accountable in their walk with God. They are based on a classical Wesleyan approach. To learn more about Wesleyan Discipleship Bands, check out here!

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Small Groups generally have 8-15 members. They meet once or more a month to share what God is doing in their life and fellowship with each other.
-
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another. Hebrews 10:24-25
Each week, Fillmore Wesleyan Church gathers for fellowship and biblical instruction.
At 9:15 AM, there is a Sunday school hour. During the school year, there are age appropriate groups from nursery to adult. This summer, we are hosting a Discipleship Hour from 9:15-10:15. This is a classical Wesleyan approach to small groups that all are welcome to attend.
At 10:30 AM, we gather for our morning service of worship through song, scripture reading, and the preaching of God’s word.

You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deuteronomy 6:7
Each Sunday our Youth Group meets at the Parsonage with Pastor Mark and Amanda, and a youth leader, for time of regular fellowship and teaching.
